Individual Therapy
Shelby approaches each client from a person centered, individual approach, and works to build up trust for a strong therapeutic rapport. Individual therapy provides personalized, one-on-one support to help clients navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth while addressing mental health struggles and trauma history.
It is paramount that each client feels safe to be able to engage and process for effective therapy. Shelby approaches clients from a non judgement, affirming point of view.
Your identities are safe here. Whether you identify as LGBTQ, struggle with chronic pain, or whatever your religious or political affiliation are, you are welcome here.
Shelby has extensive experience working with LGBTQ, chronic pain folks, various mental health disorders, different religious backgrounds, and from various political points of view.
Group Therapy
Shelby is currently offering a closed group to staff members from a residential program he worked at.
Other projects in the works are extending this group membership to other facilities and exploring groups of people who can benefit from a supportive group therapy environment.
Shelby is working on putting together a support group geared toward folks who suffer from chronic pain.

Benefits of Group Therapy
Group therapy fosters a sense of community and camaraderie, empowering people to make positive changes in a supportive setting.
Group therapy sessions are more affordable, and offer the opportunity for people to make connections with others who have similar struggles in a supportive and safe environment. Groups also support clients in building up effective coping strategies together with other group members.
Shelby has experience in engaging all members of a group effectively, giving the opportunity for each participant to have a voice, while encouraging safety, group respect, and building rapport.
