From Shelby:
"Accepting change and working on personal growth can be challenging. Right now, you are taking necessary steps to grow. I work together with clients to set goals that can help address their needs and inspire insight and growth.
I have worked extensively with adolescents both individually and within their relationships with parents and peers. This work has assisted me in helping people address interpersonal struggles and communication barriers.
I work with people with depression, anxiety, trauma history, PTSD, personality disorders, self harm struggles, and clients struggling with suicidal idealizations. I frequently work with people in the LGBTQ community. I also work with people struggling with chronic pain and co-morbid mental health struggles that can come with invisible pain.
The approach I take in therapy is to engage with my clients and see them from a strengths based perspective. I love working with people and empowering them to be able to see the best versions of themselves. I am excited to meet with you and share in your journey."

Marbles: F1bb Goldendoodle and Therapy Buddy

Marbles is nearly 4 years old and has been assisting in therapy with Shelby since she was about 6 months old. She engages with clients and loves the attention and ear scratches she receives. She enjoys accessorizing with her colorful scarves and showing off her different hair style.

Marbles is trained and takes her job seriously. She has a sense for when clients need her to check in or even sit with them. This intuitive nature has allowed her to connect with clients and be there as a support while working through trauma history and other struggles.
